Nir Eyal and Manne Sjöstrand on the ethics of unrealistic goals in public health
March 11 2020In a paper published at the American Journal of Public Health , Eyal and co-author Manne Sjöstrand trace a recent history of unrealistic goals in public health, namely, goals that seem unachievable when set, such as eradicating a disease or eliminating a risk factor. They argue, that it can be ethical to knowingly set such goals.
