CPLB’s Nir Eyal and Dan Hausman in HHS OHRP workshop on bystander protection in research

CPLB Director Nir Eyal will moderate a virtual workshop on “Review of Third-Party Research Risks: Is There a Role for IRBs?”, organized by the HHS Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP). CPLB’s Dan Hausman will be participating. The event will take place on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM EDT.

 The topic of this year’s OHRP workshop, ethical considerations for third-party risk in research, was recently brought to the fore in journal symposia guest-edited by Eyal and colleagues in Journal of Infectious Diseases, Clinical Trials, and Bioethics.
