Dr. Daniel Hausman, 2023-2024 Baruch A. Brody Lecture award recipient

Dr. Hausman attended the award presentation and lecture on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024. Dr. Hausman presented his lecture on "Preferences, Health and Healthcare." A recording of this lecture will be made available in the near future.

The Baruch A. Brody Lecture award is an international award and named lectureship in Baruch Brody’s memory. This award honors someone in the field who embodies the values and virtues that were central to Dr. Brody’s scholarly life and work.

The award committee has selected Dr. Hausman for his rigorous, philosophically-informed, conceptual contributions to the field of bioethics that are of clinical and practical import;  demonstrated leadership in, and commitment to, the field of bioethics; and academic excellence.
