Mark Budolfson's new book on Philosophy and Climate Change

June 29 2021

CPLB Assistant Professor Mark Budolfson has a new co-edited book out, by Oxford University Press. Entitled Philosophy and Climate Change, the volume is aimed at both philosophers working on climate change, as well as those working in a range of other fields, ranging from public policy to economics to law to empirical disciplines including psychology, the science of climate adaptation, mitigation, and beyond. This volume is motivated by the thought that philosophical work on climate change – including the work showcased in the volume – can make an important contribution to the broader interdisciplinary conversation about this pressing topic. One of the goals of the volume is to spur others (both from within philosophy as well as from other fields) to enter these conversations, and collaborate together for the good of society and future generations.
