Thierry Ngosso
Political philosopher

Thierry Ngosso is a political philosopher interested in global justice, and especially in human rights (with a strong focus on the human right to health), climate change, and migration. He addresses these questions both from the perspective of the moral division of labor between the state and the firm and of the comparison between Western and African approaches. Ngosso obtained a doctorate in philosophy from the Catholic University of Louvain (2015). He is currently a lecturer in the philosophy department of the Catholic University of Central Africa where he founded and leads the Ethics and Public Policy Laboratory (EthicsLab), Senior Research Fellow at the University of St. Gallen where he co-founded and leads the Competence Center in African Studies, and visiting professor of moral philosophy at the University of Maroua in Cameroon.
